One hundred miles north of the California border along the magnificent southern coast of Oregon, lies the picturesque town of Bandon-by-the-Sea. The town was founded in1873 by Lord George Bennett who named it after his native town of Bandon, Ireland, in County Cork.  The two Bandons are now “sister cities.”

  1. Already famed for its unparalleled scenic beauty, Bandon is home to four of the world’s premier golf courses (Bandon Dunes, Pacific Dunes, Bandon Trails, and Old MacDonald).
